Clinical Contracted Provider

We are open to contracting clinical providers at this time. Please submit an application using the tab above. Applicants must be either a Licensed Clinical Social Worker L.C.S.W, or Marriage and Family Therapist M.F.T.

We are a Social Work Board approved clinical site and accept Clinical Social Work Interns with an onsite board approved supervisor.

Qualified Mental Health Associate 

Qualified Mental Health Associates provide Rehabilitation services in the community. QMHA’s have the education; experience and training to provide quality service to our families and undergo an extensive background check clearance.
We are currently not hiring for any QMHA positions. We always accept applications for QMHA. We look for bi-lingual providers who speak English and Spanish who can meet all QMHA qualifications. Qualified individuals will become QMHA’s post orientation, training and hiring process.

REQUIREMENTS
  • Associates degree or higher (Social Work, Psychology, Education, Human Development and Family Studies)
  • Experience working with children
  • Ability to pass a background check
  • Ability to clear a TB test
  • Reliable transportation

Qualified Mental Health Associate (QMHA) - A person who meets the following documented minimum qualifications:

a. Licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN) in the State of Nevada or holds a Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university in a human, social services, or behavioral field with additional understanding of rehabilitative mental health treatment services, and case file documentation requirements; OR

b. Holds an Associates Degree from an accredited college or university in a human, social services or behavioral field with additional understanding of rehabilitative mental health treatment services, and case file documentation and has four years of relevant professional experience of providing direct services to individuals with mental health disorders; OR

c. An equivalent combination of education and experience as listed in 403.3(a)(b); AND

Whose education and experience demonstrate the competency under clinical supervision to:

1. Direct and provide professional therapeutic interventions within the scope of their practice and limits of their expertise;
2. Identify presenting problem(s)
3. Participate in Treatment Plan development and implementation
4. Coordinate treatment 
5. Provide parenting skills training
6. Facilitate Discharge Plans 
7. Effectively provide verbal and written communication on behalf of the recipient to all involved parties. 

d. Has a FBI background check.

e. Have had tuberculosis tests with negative results documented or medical clearance as outlined in NAC 441.A375 prior to the initiation of service delivery. Documentation of TB testing and results must be maintained in the BHCN, Treatment Home Provider or Independent Mental Health Rehabilitative Provider personnel record. TB testing must be completed initially and annually thereafter. Testing and surveillance shall be followed as outlined in NAC 441A.375, 3.
